My Life as a Speaker (Workshops, Events, and Lectures): I've spoken at MIT, Northeastern University, and a variety of science, health, technology, and education conferences. Here are my four basic kinds of presentations and activities:
Feel free to mix and match topics to get the most for your dollar... or other currency, in which case you're probably getting a good deal in today's market! See my Resume/CV for past speaking engagements. Details and video previews for prepared sessions coming soon. Travel, Fees, and Policies: I am available to speak anywhere in the world, as long as you're willing to get me there, put me up, and pay for my time. If you are based in Boston, then you don't have to worry about transportation or lodging. I generally handle travel arrangements on my own, and I provide a quote for expenses in advance.
*Additional Expenses: Fees do not include round-trip airfare and lodging, and any training materials. Deposit: Upon contract acceptance, the deposit is 50% of the speaking fees plus any non-refundable travel expenses (ie, economy class air fares, hotel deposits, etc.). The remainder of fees and expenses are due at the end of the session. Audio & Video Recording: There is no charge for you to record any presentation for use within your organization; you may not redistribute outside of your organization, however. If you video record, I ask for a copy of the tape. Non-Profit Discounts: Contact me for details |
